Easter is the last season of renewal. Whether you’re looking forward to spending time with family, worshiping at church, or decorating eggs for the little ones.

For hundreds of years, followers of the Christian faith have closed out Lent by attending church services and gathering with friends and family for spring-inspired celebrations.

Here we leave you our recommendations of places and information about the activities that will be carried out: 

Orlando

The Easter Bunny Garden Experience at ICON Park on International Drive features the lovable brown bunny you’ve come to know and love alongside candid spring photos. Each child who visits the bunny will also receive a gold token for a free ride on The Wheel, with 50% off admission for additional riders!

Easter weekend celebration at The Morse on April 15-17 

The annual Easter weekend celebration at the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park invites you to view the collection free of charge.

Easter Bunny Hop and Stops on April 16

During Easter Bunny Hop and Stops, the Easter Bunny will travel throughout Winter Park, stopping at parks along the way.

New Orleans

The Chris Owens Easter Parade also launches on Sunday. The celebration begins in the Astor Crowne Hotel Ballroom at 11:00 AM.

Oahu 

Easter takes place in Hawaii on the first weekend of April 2022 from April 15 to April 17 

Good Friday is the Friday before Easter, a holy day that commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ

On Easter weekend on Oahu you can attend a local Easter church service, participate in an Easter egg hunt, enjoy Easter Sunday brunch, or shop until you drop at the Easter sales.

You can say Happy Easter in Hawaiian in two different ways.

One form is «Hauʻoli Lā Pakoa», which means «Happy Easter». You can also say: «Hau’oli Lā I Ala Hou Ai Ka Haku», which translates to «Happy Resurrection Day of the Lord». Most people tend to use the former, while Protestants will use the latter.

North Carolina

The 2022 North Carolina Easter Festival is packed with festivities like face painting, games, dance performances, crafts, vendors and mor.

There will also be a free Easter Egg Hunt and photos of the Easter Bunny. It will be on April 16, 2022 in Sala Dorada 2

Easter Sunday is April 17, and whether you’re celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, the end of Lent, or the arrival of the Easter bunny, restaurants along the Front Range are ready to serve you brunch, a meal which has become synonymous with the party.
